I've inhereted an Ekco model A144 (this is from the hardboard cover on the rear), however there seems to be a problem when I'm trying to date it.
All the info I get points to a constrution date of around the late 1940's. However, all the pictures I've seen appear to be for a radio only (around a modern microwave size).
What I've got is a radiogram which stands about 1.2m with a footprint of about 600 x 400mm.
As a child I remember the record player being used together with the radio stuck on radio 2 MW, but this has not been used in 30+ years.
Can anyone advise if this is a genuine artical or something cobbled together I would be grateful.
