Hi CT.
A circuit diagram would probably be more informative than just a photo of a breadbord; EPE readers like to know the technicalities of what is going on in projects.

Wow CT, that's some siren!

Pretty soon you'll need a PCB for it!

looks like a piezo tweeter driven by a simple (transistor?)oscillator circuit.

i added one of these tweeters to an old guitar amp and was amazed by the extra volume;at least at high frequencies!
suppose that's what comes of having no heavy copper coil to flap about

It's nice to see someone enjoying his/her electronics... I vaguely remember that feeling... :o)

I wish some of my students showed as much get up & go...

HI Guys,
thanks.. Yes Ive no actual diagram drawing program but I may manage it doing it on paint program.. I hope!!
there's a slight appology here.. its not the siren with the Tweeter its more of a Phasor sound and at 15volts.. I nearly had to put my ear protectors on!! Yes it was that penatrating.. and when you turn the preset up it sweeps it up more horrible.. any how your get the gist laters I see what I can do my best ok all?
PS: its the Yellow BB thats the siren I got mixed up.. the black horn + white BB is the high Phasor noise thing..
Cheers

Hi guys,& all,
I've tried my hardest to do this, as I say its a more like a loud Phasor, not a siren.. the drawing I done is the best I could do, if you get stuck, thats if you want to test it, just ask.

WARNING :-On no account hold this near your ears.. point it away..ok so Ive warned anyone.
May/ CAn cause hearing defects..
Its best viewed with windows fax viewer to magnify it..

The Value of the Preset is missing its a 220k,

I've tested the Output Frequency starting at 3.844khz Ending at 15.12khz..
hope you like it have a bash!! but at 15volts on NO ACCOUNT hold it near ears only away from them
