Dose anyone know where I can get very small project boxes that are "see through" to IR light?
Size not critical but smaller the better maybe key fob remote size.

Thanks, Terry

Hammond cases sound ideal (and they do them in Red) but those from Maplin are far too big.

Mouser or one of the USA/Canadian suppliers? Could be expensive though.

Farnell, probably. I think they stock Hammond.

Also try RS.

Farnell have a £20+vat minimum order charge for free delivery, RS probably have the same.

Hi Terry, you can try Squires Tools & Crafts...

I have used them on many projects and recall they do have small key-fob cases, and other IR small cases.

The problem is, you will have to order a catalogue, and it looks like they have not produced a new electronics one as yet; however, the tools do have a small selection of cases within... see URL:

http://www.squirestools.com/

On this web-page, top left you can down-load a pdf page, it's very limited with only basic ABS cases... thus, the catalogue would be the best route to go. Give them a call or E-Mail, so they let you know if they still have IR or key-fobs.

Regards, Brian.

RS don't charge for postage even if you only spend 10p
