Windows defender has just highlighted a trojan 'Spallowz.A!plock' in with filemenu tools update.
I had already refused to install the update as it had compulsory 'partner' software, which, apparently I could remove later if I wanted. No thanks.

As a precaution I've removed the original install. Whilst lopesoft may do good things, their choice of partners ('InstallMonetizer' in this case) is questionable.

I'd probably agree with that, it's a shame how earnest designers of modest but useful products get big ideas this way. I am sticking with 6.2

Same is true of Advanced Uninstaller Pro which has become a nightmare. Stick with 11.13.

Thanks for mentioning this Alan -

My hunt for a nice 'touch' utility resumes...
