When using the suggested technique of writing to LAT and reading from PORT while monitoring in the MPLAB X simulator, changes to the PORT do not appear. This is not very reassuring as to whether or not the programme is likely to work. Is there any way that the true state of the port can be viewed?
Any help would be appreciated.

Regards.
Ken

Thanks very much g6osv and james. I obviously have some reading to do. If I get stuck I'll be back.

Cheers.
