Can anybody please identify the type of this lamp? It's a 12V 3W indicator from a gas oven.
I've no idea what to search for. Does anybody know of a likely source in the UK?

RS have them as well, but you have to buy 10! Should last you a lifetime! Free P+P though.

Any Motor spares shop will have them, I doubt it is anything special.

The type is known as either T10 or 501. As others have said easy to pick up at a motorist shop.

Ok. Thanks for the input guys. As is obvious from the question, I've never owned (as far as I know) a car that used that type of lamp.
So off to the nearest car spares emporium. I hope that I don't have to order 10. The lamp has lasted over 30 yrs already.

I went to the local shops yesterday and dropped into the garage on the off chance. They gave me one for no charge - Can't beat the price.
