I've just received a nice parcel through the post.

Several months ago I entered one of the EPE competitions, and I won it! I can hardly believe my luck.

The prize was a Microchip PICDEM development kit, which comprises of a PIC programmer, a pcb/breadboard, and a bag of LEDS, trasistors, resistors, switches etc. Just what I needed as my old PIC programmer was getting rather long in the tooth.

Thank you everyone at EPE and Microchip.

Gary.

Well done. I think I entered the same competition but completely forgot about. I have never won anything from any competition anyway, so I think that’s why it went in straight out of my mind again.

I am interested in what the programmer was that you replaced your old one with.

I say have more competitions, - maybe I’ll get lucky one day.

We had one in PicNMix last year, and there will be another competition in PicNMix mid year for a Nurve Networks Chameleon PIC24/Propeller development system, so keep a look out for it.

Wow! I've just won (along with nine other lucky winners) the EPE competition to win a TextStar Serial LCD Module.

Thanks to all concerned
